The individual we are looking for will be responsible for both system administration and configuration management. Successful candidates will have a minimum 5+ consecutive year's hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, servers, desktops and network infrastructures as well as a minimum of 5+ years in hands-on experience managing and implementing all phases of build & release. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintenance, performance tuning, security, update and patch management of all aspects of network hardware and software (OS, servers, firewall, switches, routers, backups, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SNMP, SMTP, VPN, etc).
• Performs moderately complex systems and database (Oracle, MySQL, SQL) administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of reliability and performance.
• Oversees appropriate level software installations and upgrades and related software packages.
• Collects and reviews system data for capacity and planning purposes. Analyzes capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systems. Coordinates with appropriate management personnel in implementing changes.
• Supports the design and configuration of system landscapes.
• Supports data/media recoverability through system backups and database archive operations. Plans, coordinates and directs appropriate level data refresh strategies.
• Develops and maintains appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current and oversees the maintenance of a library of system-supporting process and procedure documentation.
• Installs, generates, maintains, tests, debugs, and integrate system software programs in a multi-operating system and/or network operating system environment.
• Supports mobile devices (Blackberry, Apple, etc).
• Works with development teams to configure project code base.
• Troubleshoots complex technical problems having to do with building and releasing software products.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in source control management tools.
• Highly proficient in support of Windows, Mac OS, Red Hat, LAMP, Tom Cat, VMWare, etc. and all related system administrator duties.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of experience in a client-server environment.
• Experience working with complex systems administration, database administration, and maintenance.

Responsible for supporting the implementation and integration of enterprise health care software solutions into client environments.
